About the event

Join us at Gees Bees Honey Company on World Honeybee Day on Saturday August 20th, 2022,  in celebration of honey, honeybees, and their important role in the ecosystem.  

Throughout the day will be holding demonstrations to share our love for bees, including:

  • Honeybee Show & Tell - We'll talk about life inside the beehive and show you our beekeeping gear 
  • Pollination Station for Kids - Games, dress-up, colouring, and waggle dancing (did you know bees communicate by dancing?!)
  • Meet the Bees  - Join us in the bee yard where we'll show you the active beehives and bees inside!
