Honey + Bees options include four passes to our See the Bees tours, offered on select dates from June through mid-August.
From the comfort of our screened observation area, join one of our beekeepers for an up-close look inside a working honeybee colony. Learn how honeybees live, see what they’re bringing into the hive, discover how the honey in your Hive Share begins — and maybe even hold a frame of bees!

The Honey
Your share of the 2027 harvest
Our bees forage on flowers blooming across the Ottawa area throughout the season — including clover, vetch, birdsfoot trefoil, basswood and goldenrod. As the flowers change, so does the nectar coming into the hives, giving each year's wildflower honey its own unique colour and flavour.
In September, Hive Share members are among the first to enjoy honey from the new harvest — freshly bottled, pure, raw and unpasteurized.
