Ingredients
10-pound bone-in smoked ham
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup Wildflower Honey
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350F
Place the ham in a large roasting pan and cover with foil.
Bake the ham for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Step 2
To make the honey glaze, in a saucepan, mix together the wildflower honey and brown sugar over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
Step 3
Pour the honey glaze over the ham. While the ham continues to cook, you can baste it every 20-30 minutes with the drippings in the roasting pan.
The best way to monitor cooking and check for doneness is to use a meat thermometre in the meaty area of the ham. The ham is done when it reaches 160F.
Once the ham is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Serve the honey glazed ham warm and enjoy!
