Come and join us at Gees Bees for an exciting and educational experience that the whole family can enjoy! Discover the captivating world of bees, one of nature's most fascinating creatures. This unique event offers you the chance to get an up-close and personal look at a beehive and learn more about these essential pollinators.

During the 40-minute demonstration, you and your family will be safely situated in a screened observation area where you'll have a clear view of the beehive and its busy inhabitants. Our knowledgeable beekeeper will guide you through the process, providing insights into the amazing world of bees and their vital role in our ecosystem. For those feeling adventurous and when the bees are in good spirits, we even offer the opportunity to put on a bee jacket and hold a frame of bees.

With utmost care and expertise, the beekeeper will open the beehive, revealing the intricate structures inside and giving you a firsthand glimpse of the bees' remarkable activities. You'll see the bees tirelessly gathering nectar, creating honeycombs, and communicating with each other through fascinating dance-like movements.

Throughout the observation, the beekeeper will explain the bees' behaviors, how the hive functions, and the importance of their work in pollinating plants. You'll learn about the different roles of worker bees, drones, and the queen bee, and discover the incredible teamwork that keeps the hive thriving.
