Service Description

Group Tours at Gees Bees For Groups Up to 20 Participants May to August | Ottawa Looking for something a little different for your team or group this summer? Join us at Gees Bees for a relaxed, educational visit to the farm. You’ll get an up-close look at how a working beehive operates, all from the comfort of our screened observation area, so everyone can watch safely and comfortably. What Your Group Will Experience 🐝See Inside a Live Hive Observe thousands of bees at work in our screened observation area and learn what’s happening inside the colony. How Honey Is Made We’ll walk you through how bees collect nectar, turn it into honey, build honeycomb, and communicate with one another. Pollinators & Why They Matter Gain a deeper understanding of the important role bees play in our food system and local ecosystem. Guided by Our Team The session is led by our experienced staff and designed specifically for adult groups. There’s plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. Great For: • Corporate team outings • Social clubs and hobby groups • Community organizations • Retirement residences • Nature and sustainability groups • Anyone curious about bees Details $225 + HST per private session Up to 20 participants Fridays, May through August Ottawa location We’d love to welcome your group to the farm.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for your Group Tour up to 24 hours in advance and receive a full refund or transfer to another date (subject to availability). To cancel or reschedule, please email hello@geesbees.ca.  No refund or exchanges will be given on tours that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the demonstration. Gees Bees Honey Company reserves the right to cancel your Group Tour due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or insufficient enrolment. We will contact you by email/telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another date (subject to availability).  WARNING: under Ontario law, an agritourism provider is not liable for the death or injury or illness of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if that injury or death or illness results from the inherent risks of that agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land, equipment and animals as well as the potential for you as a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
