Honey Lemon Tea


Looking to soothe cold symptoms or warm up on a chilly evening? This easy recipe hits the mark:


Ingredients:

Lemon

Water

Wildflower Honey or Buckwheat Honey

Optional: ginger, turmeric, or cinnamon


Simply simmer sliced lemons in a pot of hot water for about 20 minutes. For an extra soothing try simmering cinnamon sticks, ginger, or turmeric. Ginger and turmeric make a particularly flavourful combination. Once simmered and slightly cooled, stir in honey to taste.


For an adult twist, add bourbon or rum for a hot toddy
