Service Description

From May 26th to August 12th 2022 Base rate (for up to 4 guests) - $100+HST Additional Guests: $25 +tax / person Location: Gees Bees Honey Company, 538 River Rd Ottawa Whether you live in Ottawa or are visiting our National Capital, a visit through our  honey farm will make a memorable experience.  Tours start in the Pollinator Garden where you will see many species of bees, including honey bees, pollinating the flowers.  You will then be lead you through the orchard to one of our beeyards, where you will learn about honeybees and beekeeping.  Here you can get up close and personal with the bees and see them in action. Our expert beekeepers will provide an up close and personal tour through a live beehive.We'll show you the various parts of a beehive and point out the Queen bee, worker bees, and drones. We recommend that participants wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. We will ask that you wear a bee jacket that we have available on site. A signed waiver is required. Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a tour up to 48 hours in advance of the tour day and receive a full refund or transfer to another date (subject to availability). No refund or exchanges will be given on tours that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the class or tour. Gees Bees Honey Company reserves the right to cancel any class or tour due to inclement weather. We will contact you by telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class or tour of your choice (depending on availability).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy: You may cancel your registration for a workshop or tour up to 7 days in advance of the tour day and receive a full refund or transfer to another date (subject to availability).  No refund or exchanges will be given on tours that are cancelled less than 7 days prior to the class or tour. Gees Bees Honey Company reserves the right to cancel any class or tour due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or insufficient enrolment. We will contact you by telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class or tour of your choice (depending on availability).
